Train Me offers comprehensive training in Safely Access the Rail Corridor (TLIF0020) for contractors who require the mandatory Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card in order to perform work on New South Wales’s train tracks and network. This was previously referred to as RISI (Rail Industry Safety Induction).
Our SARC/RIW course, available in Sydney and applicable for all New South Wales railroad work, offers a comprehensive training service that will provide you with all the skills, knowledge, and qualifications necessary to work on New South Wales railroads.
Safely Access the Rail Corridor Course, is a nationally recognised competency. Any individual who wishes to access the rail corridor must hold a valid RIW card and this card can only be obtained by successfully completing this course. This course provides vital safety information and procedures that must be followed when working on the rail network. Important hand signals, worksite protection management and basic rules are all taught for people wanting to work in the danger zone.
